Bridging Alignment & Flow: Integrating Mobility, Strength, and Creativity in Vinyasa Practice
Duration: 4 Hours | Level: Continuing Education |4 CEUs: Yoga Alliance
Bridging Alignment & Flow is a 4 hour continuing education workshop that blends the structural intelligence of Iyengar Yoga with the creative, fluid sequencing of Vinyasa Flow to elevate both movement quality and teaching artistry.
Designed for yoga teachers and movement professionals, this experiential training integrates anatomical alignment, functional mobility, intelligent strength training, and creative sequencing. Participants explore how structure creates freedom — learning to move with greater stability, grace, and expressive flow.
Drawing from movement science, Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), PNF-inspired techniques, and decades of teaching experience, this workshop offers practical tools for designing fluid, dance-like transitions that are safe, intentional, and inspiring to teach.
Teachers will leave with a deeper understanding of how to cue with precision and creativity, design thoughtful sequences, and help students move with confidence, ease, and artistry on the mat.
Continuing education workshop bridges the structural precision of Iyengar Yoga with the creative fluid sequencing of Vinyasa Flow to improve the quality of movement and enhance artistry in teaching. Designed for yoga teachers and movement professionals, it integrates anatomical alignment, functional range Conditioning (FRC), PNF stretching, and intelligent strength training to cultivate both safety and expression in the practice.
Participants will learn to design graceful, dance-like movement transitions that link structure and creativity — building sequences that are stable, intelligent, and inspiring to teach.
Workshop Description
This educational and experiential training deepens instructors’ understanding of alignment, mobility, and creative sequencing. Participants explore how to balance precision and flow by blending Iyengar’s structural principles with the freedom of Vinyasa Yoga.
Emphasis is placed on:
